DC United have announced that Richie Aman will join Loudoun United on loan for the 2026 season. It's a chance to get the 1st round draft pick some minutes assuming USL and the USLPA agree on a new collective bargaining agreement in time to start the season. #DCU #LoudAndUnited

Clark, who was an unused sub last week and was on team social media boarding the flight to Texas, is dropped entirely to make room for Murrell.
Roster profiles dropped. #DCU is on the U-22 Initiative model. This nets them an extra $1 million in GAM. They can switch in the summer, which I would expect them to do. Kim still occupies a U-22 slot so it looks like his loan didn't cover enough to free.

Most interestingly, DC is listed as 2/4/2. The doctor had said they are open to signing a DP still (h/t @jasondcsoccer.bsky.social), but it seems that’s not a possibility anymore
They reached DC the morning of the game, on 4 hrs sleep; 14 bags got lost in transit, including their kits.
A last-ditch delivery to RFK didn't arrive, so they had no choice but to borrow DCU's away kits, and thus the 'international friendly' (attendance: 8,987) looked like an intrasquad scrimmage:

As MLS season prepares to launch, D.C. United finalizing first-team contract with academy goalkeeper Grant Leveille, per sources. New Yorker was member of Haitian U17 World Cup squad last fall. Spent preseason this winter with DCU in California. Expecting more details within a week.

In a closed door scrimmage, their final before the season begins next weekend, DC United beats St. Louis City 3-1 today. #DCU goals came from Baribo, Rowles, and Murrell. DC now travels home to prepare for their home opener next weekend against the Philadelphia Union.
