Ross, a little snow wiggler, thinks they're too weak and cowardly to help Mario on his adventure. Thus, they provide assistance through Ajuq'Ya, an ancient, powerful machine that they can control and speak through from their home

It's just a mask! The pixel face mask is a signature look of her and her followers, plus it also looks cool
