I was ready for our kids/family focused service on Sunday at St C’s. “Wiggle Worship” had some extra wiggles but the kids were down to learn and even teach us a thing or two. Holy Spirit even tapped me on the shoulder to let me know there is one w/a big gift for ministry to watch.

Death with dignity is something I believe in, but it isn’t dignified when it feels the only way out because you have no support. Yet with support/compensatory support you could have a fulfilling life and be a part of society. No one listens. I’m so sorry you have felt that terrible pain.

It’s a nuance that is not considered by advocates and it is frustrating. I’m disabled and so is my son and my stepson has severe PTSD from the war. They will outlive us, their parents, and my greatest fear is they will feel so unsupported and alone this will feel the only option.
