Doesn't this mean there is a greater opportunity to poison the dataset? Couldn't you make statements that are false or ask questions with some illogical premise? This likely is already a risk, but I doubt that they can completely mitigate it. This will end up the least reliable model.

I think that would be ideal. Happy workers produce better products. Unfortunately, the initial investment has to come from somewhere, and if it is not the founders pockets, then it is outside investors.. and they generally don't loan money for free.
Profits are excess earnings that typically go to the owners or shareholders. However, Companies and Organizations can absolutely make money and still operate in a "not for profit" way, monies made by these companies are put back into the business or returned to the workers as bonuses.

Since joining the sales side of the industry, I have had contact with a number of organizations that are considering moving, but can't right now.. I expect the next renewal period will see a lot more attrition. Those that haven't yet reached renewal are making plans now.
It will be interesting to see if this appeases any customers that were already considering a move.

I never had the chance to work at VMware but I worked with so many people AT VMware that benefitted from his tenure. I am certain that he tried to continue that at Intel but too many things were already broken and there just wasn't enough time or trust to get there.
It is a shame, I believe that Pat was responsible for a sizable positive culture shift at VMware prior to the Broadcom acquisition and He may well have been trying to bring that innovation focus back to Intel, but he made numerous errors and never really had the trust of the investors...
