Let’s talk about Graham Platner’s Big Lie, finally. In 2009, at the height of the Gulf War, the Marines barred him from active duty. Platner claims it was his forearm tattoos. But his one forbidden tattoo was the Nazi symbol on his chest. He knew - and he left the Marines rather than give it up. 1/

Reminds me of that one comic he wrote about a soldier who commits war crimes but the twist is that he’s bad because he betrayed his country, not because of the war crimes.

Incarcerated people in one TX prison are warned by some staff & doctors to "drink bottled water" because the tap water is too risky.
...except a water bottle from commissary is completely unaffordable when you make $0 per day, as incarcerated folks in TX do.

He shut it down by being more subtle in his racism. He didn’t say “there is nothing wrong with being Muslim you racist asshole, but Obama isn’t Muslim.” He basically said “no, he’s not a Muslim, instead he’s a human being worthy of respect.”
It feels like something that should be around for one or arc and then Batman should learn “oh wait this kid needs friends, I’m being selfish” and admits that he’s wrong
