Great capture! This is a fall-streak hole cloud. The puffy cloud surrounding the hole consists of water droplets below freezing. When an aircraft flies through the supercooled cloud, the water droplets freeze and these ice crystals grow rapidly and fall out giving the appearance of streaks.

Very nice Brian. Have you ever considered a similar plot for wet bulb temperatures? It’s a better indicator of human comfort, with wet bulb temperatures above 99 F being unbearable.
