My 2 cents is to just ban Stacked Deck and Called Shot. They provide way too much consistency, extend round timers, and absolutely will cause long-term issues for the game. Things like Ponder and Preordain are arguably worse than Stacked Deck and have been deemed too good for MTG.

Also, Obelisk allows for more turn 1s where you have 2 units, which is super good with the deck.
I just think the matchup is good if you know how to play it. Viktor is good at flooding the board and double-capping, while Kai'sa is good at getting on a battlefield but has a hard time getting two if units are removed. You out-pace them and Singularity is often back-breaking.
My loss to Teemo was definitely me not knowing how to navigate that matchup. Them being able to play hidden units kinda throws off how I know to play the Viktor deck, and I got absolutely blown out on an unnecessarily risky play g1.
The loss to Annie was them playing 3 Ride the Winds in g3.

Overall, being 5-0 on the day vs Kai'sa felt great.
This was a nice, quick read that echoes a lot of the same sentiments and excitement I have for Riftbound. I'm sooooo excited to share this game with friends and see what the OP system is about.

Finding out about grayboxing as a means of prototyping 3d games has been a revelation. I was previously worried about getting into 3d because it seemed so daunting, but using very simple shapes to just get the idea across is a very nice first step. #gamedev #godot

Currently just play Magic, but I think Legends of Runeterra has a really cool and innovative way to do turns. The "initiative/attack token" passing with both players being able to act on each turn made games feel interactive and dynamic.
I finally played this game for the first time a week or so ago after listening to yours and Basso's podcast episodes on the Game Maker's Notebook. Incredible game, and I really loved all of the passion that everyone showed in those podcasts.

Been hard at working learning more of #godotengine and I'm really happy with where I am right now. I am able to randomize a deck, draw from it, and have it persist through game closing. I'll be working on some simple health bars and other combat mechanics next. #gamedev
