Interesting, in March ‘23 France introduced price caps on essential products and restrictions on energy tariff increases. Though some plateauing is visible, prices have risen significantly since. Any thoughts on what’s causing that?

There are no qualifications on this statement other than "don't be a comemierda" and that goes no matter what.
"Legal" and "illegal" are artificial categories imposed by States with arbitrary rules, usually with suboptimal outcomes.

I’m actually not a huge tariff hater, if this is what it takes to actually get people to eat/buy/manufacture local then as a matter of fact I quite like it.
