I am apparently unable to slow down after I hit a mile. Every damn time I somehow speed up. I'd love to get 16:47 on that mile. (The eventual goal is to be lower than 15.)

My goal on Fit is 3500 and my goal for Fitbit is 4000. (It's just not worth further efforts to sync my steps.) Right now Fitbit says I have 4634 steps and Fit says 3818. No idea which is right.
Once I've been walking regularly for a while I'll raise the goals.
With fibro, pain from an injury can be delayed (often becoming much worse, but by no means always) and I'm experiencing that right now. I lost my balance the other night and in catching myself I bent my ring finger back. It hurt and throbbed but then the next day it was fine. Now it's not. 😂

I saw two of the Mallard couples today! The puddles were much smaller (though there was enough left to make me walk like I did the other day.

I was told I should make a thread of the birds I've taken pictures of at the park. So here we are, presented in reverse chronological order.
Heh. I'm really glad I don't live where it snows. It snows here maybe once a decade and it doesn't accumulate and melts in a few minutes. The last time it didn't even snow at my house though it did a mile away.
And all of *those* pictures *are* good 😂
Lots of birds at that park. Turkeys are all over this city but I still enjoyed watching a mom and her two chicks. There was a Mallard couple (from a distance I thought the rooster was a male Mallard), and a heron enjoying the water wastage. I have pix of all of those, maybe I should make a thread. 😋
