This will have a major impact on the quality of care that these facilities are able to provide. Not in a good way.
It also deeply cuts funding for senior housing and skilled nursing facilities. That needs to be remedied. Medicaid pmts are always 2 years behind the expense incurred by the facility. This budget cuts reimbursements for expenses that have already been incurred.
