I've always loved this type of Bomberg's landscapes, much more so than work like The Mud Bath.
I'm reskeeting funny articles from 2011 assuming they're current. Send help.

A paved path winds through a garden of geometric shapes of coloured gravel and grass. At the top of the path, a woman in green clothes opens the back door of a modernist building to let the dog in.
Great colour and composition from Jacques Tati's 'Mon Onkle', 1958

Fell asleep in a warm march sunbeam on the sofa at lunchtime, and I have to tell you now, it was *glorious*.
"I Stand With Crypto" is such a weird Thing To Believe In.
It was. I also had a dog walker come past VERY early next day as I emerged, starkers, from a morning dip in one of the lakes. We exchanged manly nods.
Or even just... single-player FPS games with a good campaign.
Takes me back to when I shot some pictures there a good few years ago. I kipped out on the gravel on the bird reserve, and was woken in the night by people with huge nets doing a bat survey right next to me.
Something about the snow print one that I really like.
Looking in to a steamed up cafe window. We see orange lights and indistinct figures. In the foreground, a green jacket has been stuffed between the back of a blue bench and the glass of the window.
An oldie from Nov 2014.
I'd love to say "Yes, I agree based on all the stuff of his I've pored over" but the truth is I'm very poorly read - But hopefully I know good writing when I see it? I saw a truncated version of this quote and had to go and look up the rest because it felt so absolutely on the nose in 2026.
I'm getting "Trout Mask Replica" energy from this googly-yet-smudgy guy.
I'm getting Ann Summers "vibes" from this 'early version'. Whyyyyyy
Small amounts of snow caught on the branch tips of yew topiary, in a way that's hard to judge scale - suggesting something mountainous.

I've watched the process/sketches bit a couple of times now, and I still can't figure out what the thought processs might have been that ended up with the hand/butt situation. But yeah, clearly a ripoff.
Clipping : βAn era can be said to end when its basic illusions are exhaustedβ¦ A retreat began from the old confidence in reason itself; nothing any longer could be what it seemedβ¦ A sort of political surrealism came dancing through the ruins of what had nearly been a beautifully moral and rational worldβ¦ The whole place was becoming inhuman, not only because an unaccustomed fear was spreading so fast, but more because nobody would admit to being afraid.β (Miller 1974: 30, 32, 36) Miller, Arthur. 1974. βThe Year it Came Apart.β New York Magazine, 30 December 1974 β 6 January 1975, 8 (1): 30-44.
TOAD WILL NOW DANCE, AND HE WILL BE WONDERFUL.
I turned 40 this year, and perimenopause seems to have hit me like a freight train. I'd like to talk about it this #IWD.
Whatβs shocked me is how little I knew about it before. Weβre not taught about it so weβre not prepared. SexEd teaches us about when weβre fertile and just leaves it there!
SO I've (I think) solved the issue. Occasionally The Internet still functions as it used to, & you find a real enthusiast who has solved your niche problem because they are Very Very Nerdy About Something in the best possible way.
My gratitude to Keith.

I wrote about some things I'm struggling with in the technology industry, preceded by an appreciation for folk music.
I've had two Epson Ecotank printers which were both brilliant until they just keeled over because they dried out from under-use(!) So I thought I'd try an alternative Canon tank printer and OH DEAR. It's never f*cking simple with printers, is it?
Which is to say : If you have a Mac, don't buy a Canon G650 printer.
Turns out I actually have the "Canon Don't Do Specific Colour Profiles For Mac For This Recent Printer, Only Airprint, So You Can't Do Proper Colour Management, According To Everyone Else On The Internet Experiencing the Same Problem, Apparently" blues.
Got those New Printer Colour Profile Blues
