Some are clearly less key than others: once dialect differences have emerged, they can serve to signal identity.
Accommodation (important for levelling) was included in the data collection in the form of priming: impacts usage. So there seems to be strong support for Trudgill (2004/2008) rather than Schneider (2003/2007).
In the early 2000s, there was a debate between Trudgill and Schneider on the role that identity plays in new dialect formation. I recently elicited usage data and followed up with a survey, and it turns out that norm orientation (part of identity construction) is relatively separate from usage.

I shared Fridayβs bake and dip with a colleague at work. The baking works particularly well to counter anxiety if you share the result with someone, as you seem to be doing. Happy International Womenβs Day!!!
The aubergine dip recipe that Tami Samimi published in the Guardian last week. I only added the pomegranate and pine kernels.
My anxiety baking on Friday. It worked. Hang in there and keep baking.
We knew they were doing this at the time, which is why you saw grants elsewhere that mentioned things like βbiological diversityβ get cancelled.
Iβm horrified at how bad these people are, but Iβm astonished at how lazy and incompetent they are at everything.

Combined anxiety baking and cooking made for a nice lunch spread today. (Roast aubergine spread and flatbread with yellow wheat, some sourdough discard).
