It’s a really exhausting time to be a scientist/meteorologist. Seems like a never ending stream of misinformation, threats, and chaos.
Yeah this one is bad... he's pointed out several ridges in the past and said derechos were gonna result from them (wtf???) and when people call him out he gets mean really quick 😬
Another example from yesterday demonstrates the @nws.noaa.gov’s Storm Prediction Center’s exceptional expertise. This, along with WFOs, national centers, and more, is just $4 per year per person.

16 died yesterday from severe storms. First, it happens and there’s millions of possibilities as to why. But, it’s a legit concern and families have a right to know if staffing & budget cuts in government offices played a role. Not saying it did, IDK if anything was missed. But, Congress should ask.
