This afternoon's run went really well. With the temperature at plus 10°, it kind of felt more like April than March. I wore long pants, but really would have been fine in shorts. I only did a short run, but pushed myself to go faster. All went well. #running

The apothecary Diaries Season 1 (I'm catching up there). I liked it. There are 2 halves. 1st half: set in the emperor's harem, I thought it would be bland, but there were enough mysteries to keep it good. 2nd half: there was less story & more personal revelations for our protagonist. #anime

I tried to get ahead of the rain for this morning's run, but ended up getting soaking wet as the rain started sooner than expected. Grrr... The run itself was good. The snow in the side trails was still frozen, so I wasn't sinking. Main trails were good. #running

Spirited Away 千と千尋の神隠し. It's Miyazaki's last masterpiece. Chihiro's reactions to her situations does feel like how we would all react if we were there. This allows us to more immerse ourselves into the movie. It's also a good coming of age story. #anime

I had to be well dressed for this afternoon's run. It was minus 8° & running created a wind chill. The good news, the trails were no longer soft. Got a jump scare at one point as a partridge beat its wings right beside me. #running

This afternoon's run was a return to warmer weather after the very cold day yesterday. I took advantage that the side trails in Mapleton Park are still snow covered & did a few of them before they start melting in a few weeks. I saw a hawk flying overhead. Met up with 5 runners, waved hello #running

My wife & I were taking an evening walk in Irishtown Nature Park. The full moon was out & it was really illuminating the lake.

This morning's run was hopefully a sign that winter is waning. Temperatures were 3°. I was dressed in short sleeve shirt & vest, no gloves nor head gear. Felt good. Trails were a bit soft, but still good. Met up with 1 runner, waved hello. #running

Gulliver's Space Travels, aka Gulliver's Travels Beyond the Moon,aka ガリバーの宇宙旅行. A 1965 Toei theatrical feature film, adapting Gulliver's Travels into a space setting, it's a fun kids adventure. It starts off a bit slow, but the climax is pretty good. #anime

Today's run went very well. I feel back to full strength after last week's cold. The park trails were pretty good, though with temperatures just above freezing, they were a bit soft. Saw that someone had built a snowman, could not resist taking a photo. Met up with 2 runners, waved hello. #running

Remember also that Sherlock Holmes was incredibly thorough. It's far less likely that he would have overlooked something, compared to today's pseudo scientists who try to persuade the general population that their non sense idea must be correct.

This afternoon's run was at Mapleton Park. After last night's snow storm, city had not yet had enough time to more than a basic main trails cleanup. The side trails had not yet enough foot traffic to flatten the snow. The run itself was good. Temperatures were minus 1° & no wind. #running

From my comics collection, Showcase 95 #12. While the lead story is about Supergirl (Matrix), my real reason for buying it were the other 2 stories: The Shade meeting up with Neron in a prelude to Underworld Unleashed and Maitresse from Sovereign Seven fighting off some wild animals. #comics
