scott pilgrim ex is a pretty fun game. if you're a big beat-em-up fan then it's worth the $30. it's still got wacky item jank and tons of video game references like the first scott pilgrim game

basically hoover except somehow even more dumb

I also don't buy that art is more about chasing trends on social media than in a gallery site because front page features on deviantart, furaffinity, newgrounds, etc. have shown fanart of the latest trend of some kind. people like trends no matter where you are!

if I show art on a social media site, it's convenient, but if I have to tell people "hey check out my gallery on coolartstuff dot com" it's usually met with "eh, maybe later". gallery sites are great if you already have connections, but for some shlub like me, i just blend in with other amateurs

i'm gonna get flak for this, but social media did more for my art than any art gallery site has ever done to get my art shown. the general public aren't really drawn to art sites, and most artists aren't going to peruse an "amateur" art gallery just from how competitive the art world is

now the government doesn't want to delegate streamlining to ai?

I guess, but i'm also seething how people i'm supposed to support that's in my camp don't support me back. i'm selfish if I don't do everything in my power to donate and reach out and communicate and whatever, but when I have an off day it feels like nobody cares or they tell me to shut up

like i try to share in other places, but people seem to deliberately avoid my art to like emoji or something on other people's art. maybe it's every goddamn thing happening all at once, but I get fed up with putting up with this year after year

It'd be nice of I didn't just lose artist mutuals to ai slop charlatans which is basically the cornerstone of what i'm complaining about. I also get sick of seeing artists complain about their art being bad when they get so much more praise than I ever do
