- effect size of SBP reducing by 3mm Hg is small. We expect meds to make at least 5 mm Hg difference.

- the 3mm Hg reduction was in a subgroup analysis (pre-specified though which is good)
- not clear if the study was powered adequately for this subgroup analysis

I think there are many environmental concerns like youv'e suggested. But I think that first, we need to be more certain that there truly is an increase in cancer in younger people.
And what I'm saying here is that it's not obvious to me that we know this for sure.

If we're to stop the rise in under 50s getting cancer, things need to change There are ways to change the steep cancer trajectories that gen X and millennials might be on.
