Elliot Driben, "The Mayor of Terrier Nation," a lifelong donor and supporter of our student-athletes He was a joyful presence, always cheering on Terrier athletes in marquee sports like hockey or basketball-but also diving and rowing and many others.

Elliot Driben, “The Mayor of Terrier Nation,” cheered on every BU team, near and far, and donated to every program, every year.

A lifelong supporter of BU student athletes, Driben passed away in May 2025 after battling cerebral palsy.

Student Food Rescue Brings Hope to the Hungry Student Food Rescue aims to make a tangible impact on hunger in Greater Boston Becoming a Student Food Rescue volunteer made Ocean Bruinius (COM'27) feel truly a part of the BU community.
