Boston University will reopen all three of its campuses on Tuesday, with classes, research, and work resuming following a major storm that dumped upwards of two feet of snow in some parts of Greater Boston and forced the school to close on Monday.
Boston University’s Charles River Campus and Medical Campus will close starting at noon on Sunday and lasting through Monday, due to the region’s first significant snowstorm of the season, expected to drop 12 to 18 inches, accompanied by dangerously frigid temperatures.

Elliot Driben, “The Mayor of Terrier Nation,” cheered on every BU team, near and far, and donated to every program, every year.
A lifelong supporter of BU student athletes, Driben passed away in May 2025 after battling cerebral palsy.

Maisha Kazi (CAS’26) got interested in city gov helping at her dad’s store. This summer, she interned for Boston City Councilor Sharon Durkan through the City Scholar Fellowship, handling constituent calls, research, and citizen citations while gaining experience in local government.
