Earlier this week, @yuvi.app preserved Mappy de Puzzle, as well as several other previously-lost #Namco i-mode ports from the early 2000s! Mappy de Puzzle was released exclusively for keitai in 2003. You guide a set of Meowkies through a maze. It's really charming!
Behold their lil FACES!!
In order: Freya, Frigg, and Fenrir
I know Frigg technically got named Sol but just between you and me... She can be Frigg hahaha.
Fenrir's face is so ROUMD
A third of the way through the Anachronox demo, the player encounters a hulking alien merchant. “My sorrow runs deep,” the merchant, whose name is Demonstrare, says. “I will only exist for the short duration of this demo. I do not exist in the full version. “Write the company. Tell them that you want me in the full version.” What Demonstrare, even with his curse of self-awareness, did not anticipate was that if anyone did ask Ion Storm to bring him over to “the full version,” it wouldn’t have mattered. The demo shipped on a disc stuck to the cover of a PC Gamer — where it shared space with now-forgotten
titles like Throne of Darkness and The Corporate Machine — four months after Anachronox itself had been released, and three months after Ion Storm’s parent company had shut down the studio. Demonstrare never made it to Anachronox. And while twenty-five years later the game can run on modern hardware, the demo does not. Demonstrare is gone. Recently, I asked Richard Gaubert, the writer of Anachronox, if the developers ever heard anything about Demonstrare. Gaubert didn’t even remember the character.
Here is a little bit of @duncanfyfe.net's afterword for "How Can We Bear to Throw Anything Away?"
GLAAD MEDIA AWARD WINNER: OUTSTANDING COMIC BOOK Avengers Academy: Marvel’s Voices By Anthony Oliveira, Elsa Sjunneson, Carola Borelli, Bailie Rosenlund, Pablo Collar, Charles Stewart III, Alti Firmansyah, Minkyu Jung, KJ Díaz, Ruth Redmond, Dono Sánchez-Almara, Ariana Maher, Joe Caramagna (Marvel Infinity Comics)
I am so thankful for the gift of this recognition on behalf of myself and all of the crew on Avengers Academy. We strove week after week to make art worthy of our community – to deepen and enrich the world for queer, trans, and HIV+ representation and readership, to insist we belonged in these worlds of fiction and in the world that dreams them. We wanted both to illuminate queer stories told long ago and to trailblaze new paths forward. It was not always easy, but it was always worth it. I am so proud of this work, and so honoured to have it so celebrated. Thank you. Thank you to all the impossibly gifted collaborators on this project for all your brilliance, enthusiasm, and generosity: our regular artists Carola Borelli, Bailie Rosenlund, and Pablo Collar; our colorists KJ Diaz and Ruth Redmond; our letterists Ariana Maher and Joe Caramagna; as well as our numerous guest talents – who enriched this book week after week with their gifts and perspectives. Thanks too to our editors, Lindsey Cohick, Sidney Stubbs, Wil Moss, and founding editor and Sarah Brunstad who willed this book into life. Time and again this book redefined what could happen, how it could look and read, and above all who could be in a superhero comic, and I could not be prouder. And, with great admiration and profoundest appreciation, thank you to my community, for always lifting me up. Finding all of you has been the great gift of my life. This category is full of the fellow artists who showed me there was a place for us to create and to live in this world, and I live in the enduring blessing of their work. I said it when we ended, and I will say it here again: comics will mend your heart, if you let them. When I was a scared, lonely, closeted kid, the Marvel universe’s heroes were there for me when very little else was. That is a debt I can never pay back, but one I’ve tried with great travail to pay forward. I want to believe we have afforded a little of that same refuge to those who soug…
Amazed and honoured that AVENGERS ACADEMY has won the GLAAD Media Award for OUTSTANDING COMIC BOOK!
This book pushed every boundary in this industry, and I am so grateful for the gift of these talented collaborators and this generous, uplifting community of readers. deadline.com/2026/03/glaa...

Hi folks-- We're receiving reports that some takedowns for Cookie's Bustle are still being made by Web Capio. It seems like their automated takedown systems may inadvertently still be running. We're looking into it.
In the meantime, creators are having success sending response emails like this one:
There's even an option to enable video intended for single-speed CD-ROM drives, which lowers the video quality even further!

The trial version of Star Devastator (スターデバステーター), a keitai-exclusive #Konami game, was preserved by @yuvi.app! Released in 2003, this was an ambitious 3D rail shooter that was only released for i-mode devices. This may have been one of the earliest 3D keitai games.
