True. From what I’ve read Maggie goes to extremes with the characters (for good and bad) and took a lot of risks. Sometimes it just doesn’t work.
I remember being a little hyped after the first trailer though. That ending slow-mo shot of Jessie screaming was dope. But it didn’t reach the level of wanting to see it and it looks like that was the overall outcome.
Locked, guaranteed, check mate, inevitable. I’m so happy OBAA is such a worthy film of these awards. Guess a woman is gonna have to wait another year to win the first Oscar for cinematography though. Sigh.

Great overall race from Lewis. Had a rocket start, but Woody blocked him into turn one which compromised his position, but after that he drove flawlessly and was overall third fastest driver. Podium likely if not for the VSC strategy blunder from Ferrari. Still, positives heading into China.
Lewis is just gonna have to quali a little further up, cause Ferrari will almost always ruin his race with strategy blunders costing him a shot at a podium.
Lewis was going to line up behind Oscar so a launch into free space could be optimal.
Woody is going to fail horrendously at not being insufferable this year as the front runner.
Do you mean it would be labeled as undeserving and only winning cause of “woke” or whatever? Thankfully it’s unlikely.

I was contemplating staying wake for the race, but I just remembered we lose an hour tonight because of dumb ass spring forward nonsense. Smh eight months ahead of unnecessary sunlight.

Okay, with more information I might have been too doom and gloom. Lewis is upbeat and optimistic about the car, and the Ferrari had issues with energy deployment AI nonsense. He should have been 3rd or 4th likely, and only a tenth and change from 4th anyway. The last 2 1/2 years have scarred me.
Sigh. I’m afraid my goat is done when it comes to quali. Happiest he’s been with a car in four years and P7. Hate it, but Father Time sucks.
Kimi super lucky with that red flag so he could get out, but I still continue to be amazed at how F1 mechanics can rebuild a car that is completely smashed up in just a couple of hours.
Woke up early, made coffee, flicked on quali and see Max skidding into the barriers almost immediately and out of quali.

Checo ruined their long run plan in FP2, but GR was quick. I’m still positive overall. They’ll both win races this year, imo and who knows, maybe the constructors if reliability is legit AND Merc get nerfed by the June 1st ruling.
