Teaching a new class, without any resources, I was very overwhelmed. I went to princ. and told her I can’t keep working an extra 5+ hours every weekend, on top of everything else. I asked for some $ for resources. She pulled out her phone and told me to ChatGPT everything. I quit 4 months later.

The hardest thing was the guilt of leaving the kids. But if it’s a bad year, which happens more often now, why not leave once benefits kick in? It’s not what it used to be and the toll it takes on your well being is incredible.
The kids will be ok and adjust quickly. Some may not even care.
I left teaching, 3x mid year. First due to a move across state. It was easy due to bad admin. Second due to Covid. Husb was high risk. Last time was this past Jan., due to aggressive parent/colleague and unsupportive admin. I might have made it to the end of the year, but a good job came up.
I’m sure all the military has to do is turn to the pedo’s sleazy sons and their “legit” drone company. I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to help.
