True here in Canada and every other nation not a dictatorship or theocracy.
Letβs get one thing straight: We are not a Christian nation. We are a nation where you are free to be a Christian.
Your religion guides you, not all of us. Itβs as simple as that.
When the riders ride on Saturday, it will be the 49th Yorkton Snowarama, a fundraiser that started in 1977. We talk to those involved then, and now.
And if there's anyone who knows best about cynical violation of all norms of human morality, that would be Putin.
But apparently he's not as well versed about irony.
Find him @todmaffin.com. Sorry, should have included that.
Well said. The Prime Minister and the Conservative leader, adversaries to the Nth degree, are travelling together to a vigil for the victims. Imagine that happening south of the border.

Three present members of the Canadian Parliament and two Alberta cabinet ministers, one current, one previous. All grew up in Yorkton circa the 1980s. We had conversations about their lives as teens in Yorkton, and their lives in politics, without touching on partisan issues. It can be done.
Our most recent podcast.
Nothing more needs to be said.
In August a group of organizations in Yorkton dealing with food security received a donation of 15 tons of potatoes from Second Harvest. All gone in two weeks. This is about that, and the recently formed food security committee who took on the challenge.

Question: Shouldn't having balls be a prerequisite to building a room?
Just wondering.
Graphic with If you think Tylenol is bad for children, wait til you hear about assault rifles.
Good point.
Photos of the Yorkton Psychiatric Centre then (1964) and now.
The architect designed the new facility based on his experience with LSD to get into the mindset of patients. That, along with the provincial government's move to decentralize psychiatric patient care so they are closer to home, made the new facility in Yorkton SK cutting edge in North America.
To provide some context...
Thanks for cheering me up. As ye sow... etc.
