Insanity difficulty is also complete ass in terms of balancing. I do not reccomend it. Its absolutely designed to be used with infinite ammo unlocked.

Yeaaah. They can effectively stun lock you and its not fun. You can peek while aiming near the cover in those sections but it doesn't really seem to hinder their aim.
