As a child, I saw a comic strip style advert for Fear Effect 2, and somehow that memory has stayed with me. I remembered the comic strip long after I had any idea what it was for. I only know it was for Fear Effect 2 thanks to Google.

How much?
They did something similar with The New 52 version of Earth 2. That comic had barely touched on its world before it was basically taken over by a big event that ended up destroying its Earth.
Before I went on estrogen, I basically never cried. The most I cried during films was to get misty eyed. The first time I saw Inside Out was the first time I shed actual tears watching a movie.
Thatβs not at all true. The Titanic took way longer to sink than Melania has to plummet.
An angry, glowing, green skeleton man in a black suit (no shirt) asking βdo you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?β
βThe British government couldnβt even comprehend what just happened to meβ
I love Gailβs posts, but I think Simone is just a rage baiter.
It was a fair assumption.
It was that scene. I remember watching it and thinking βI donβt think that happening to me would be so badβ.
I wouldnβt figure out that Iβm trans for years after that, but it was the first egg moment I had.
P.S - I remember seeing Epic Movie in the cinema, but I remember almost nothing about it.
P.P.S - thereβs a joke in their superhero movie parody which led to the first time I even remotely questioned my gender.
When I saw a good parody more recently, I compared it to these films. In the good parody (The Peoplesβ Joker) the references were seamless parts of a cohesive whole that also served as Easter Eggs, in parodies like Epic Movie, the references stuck out so much that the movie was clunky.
I think that being able to recover them with surgery means theyβre not really gone. Theyβre only gone until they canβt be recovered with readily available means.
I see it less as killing Tuvix, more stopping Tuvix from erasing Tuvok and Neelix.
Tell me about it.
I figure Iβll make up my mind regarding Tuvix when I get there. Iβve sacrificed more people to save fewer in games before.
Also, Iβm not convinced on the argument for Tuvix. I think Tuvok and Neelix being recoverable with surgery means theyβre functionally still alive rather than dead and gone.
It was my step-fatherβs funeral today. He died at the end of January, and I miss him terribly.
His funeral was arranged by some friends and it was a lovely service. It was a sunny day, and he had his Millwall scarf. Iβm so glad that there was a great turnout of friends and family to see him off.
Those are gorgeous photos!
Labour did everything the popularists like Matt Yglesias want. They cracked down on trans people and immigrants. They pushed austerity. They ended up fracturing their entire base and losing this seat to the left for the first time in nearly a 100 years.
I often like to listen to music while Iβm out and about, and I have had to replay so many songs because I zoned out and forgot the music was even there.
Weirdly, I think I find it harder to read audio books. I think itβs because if my attention drifts I tend to forget Iβm even listening to something.
Good luck with your new podcast!
That sounds pretty standard to me.
When a marginalized person specifically positions themselves as a public figure representing their community on the issues around their marginalization, then yes, I do expect them to communicate with integrity if something they do harms others.
I did see that, but I have not.
My step-brother lent me a copy of βEnemy of Godβ years ago, and I only got around to starting it last November.
After the Queen Mother died, Andrew wanted to take over as the patron of the ladies golf club that she had patroned. They turned him down.
Of course Streeting supports it π€¦ββοΈ
You deserved and still deserve so much better than how they treated you.
Oh wow. That title is quite the attention grabber.
Ooh, thatβs a good choice!
I played a lot of Celeste when I was recording from my surgery in July last year :)
