Pokemon Pokopia Won Me Over With Its Comedy and Charm | Restart Pokemon Pokopia is an interesting blend of cozy life sim and weird Pokemon game. After playing it for roughly 90 minutes, we walked away beyond excited to discover more of its world and inhabitants.

I played Pokemon Pokopia and have not stopped thinking about it since. It’s so many things in one, but it’s also so uniquely Pokemon that I love it. It feels like the type of game ripe to take over the world.
It’s also incredibly funny. The way it uses physical comedy gags so naturally is aces

curling = turn based
bowling = real time

Okay I’m almost done with my ff7 remake replay and there’s way too much of that AAA “oh look at me slowly sliding sideways through tight corridors” thing. Really annoying this time around. This game could’ve easily cut 2-3 hours of this BS

Replaying FF7 Remake (part 1) for Guide stuff, and man, the opening STILL hits!

Code Vein 2 is a Soulslike with sauce, heart... and a fantastic character creator Justice for Josée.

The last game I played for work in 2025 was Code Vein II, and it's the first game I'm writing about in 2026 for @shacknews.com. Its combat design is thoughtful and the bosses I played were stellar, but what stuck with me was how emotive the characters were, even when they didn't speak.
