@dsyme.bsky.social With the work that you have been doing with Copilot would it be possible to have a look at ways of speeding #fsharp compiler?
Agree, it's different but way easier to work and maintain codebases than C#.
We have built our product using SAFE stack running on Azure Container Apps. 10thdoor.com. It's been so easy to build this solution with it. I have used a lot of web development frameworks but nothing is as productive as SAFE stack!
Turbo Pascal, Delphi, C#, Java, TypeScript, F#, Javascript, Dart/Flutter
I grew up in Simla and the Mall still looks similar.
Which parts of dotnet did you think would cause friction?
#fsharp After working with the Result type in F#, going back to using exceptions feels like: "If null was a billion-dollar mistake, then exceptions aren’t far behind."
I see Delphi there as well, I have spent a lot of time with Delphi, some of the stuff is still running in production.
#fsharp is the #dotnet shiny! 😎
Annadale is still there and is as beautiful as I think it was then.
I grew up there, it was really good growing up in Shimla. It still is very beautiful - it is know as queen of hill stations!
Just looked at earlier posts and realized it is Simla in India. I am from Simla(Shimla) and grew up there.
Is this Simla in India?
That's great to know. Yes this is the Mall Road, some of the old buildings are still around and have been well maintained.
Nice, I grew up in this town and have fond memories of it.
