Took a new to me motorcycle out for a test ride, unfortunately, it was much nicer in my dreams, in reality it sucked pretty bad.

One of the highlights of my visit to Ukraine this fall was the Time Machine Museum in Dnipro. This clearly grew up out of somebodyβs garage and is absolutely fantastic! Mostly soviet era vehicles with a healthy dose of ephemera and curiosities. This is what Putin wants to destroy, culture.

As always, racing & watching flat track at Lawrenceburg Motorcycle Speedway was a highlight in 2025. Such fun & such a great community. I have learned so much riding flat track & encourage anybody thatβs even mildly curious to give it a try. You donβt need to be fast to have fun, Iβm living proof!

Another highlight of 2025 was making it to the Mayors Cup Speedway race in Krakow with my son Lucas in September. Great riders and great fans at a nice little venue in the middle of a neighborhood right in Krakow, love to see it!

2025 was another good year of motorcycle riding and racing. One of the highlights of the year was getting together with friends from the XR 1200 community to go riding in and around the Smokies like we do every year in May. Highly recommend these bikes, these folks and these roads!
Fun Fact: Cincinnati Royal Jerry Lucas won the 1965 #NBA #ASG He received a motorcycle. Also: I hope my Royals doc will one day see the light of day.

When itβs too cold or snowy to ride on the street itβs time to break out the dirt bikes. Even the alpacas are intrigued. The Talaria works great in the cold and is a blast in the snow. So much fun!
