The Leader of the Opposition is a Parliamentary Office where the individual must hold a seat in the Commons.
Contrast with the office of Prime Minister which is appointed by the Crown and there is only a constitutional convention that they have a seat in Parliament. #cdnpoli

Agreed. Many in this riding see no point in voting because it’s so predictably blue but each election has more red coming out which encourages more to do so. They did great in a short time! He had three votes from our home.

Me waiting for the final results. I don’t think I’ve ever been so concerned for Canada’s future.
Extremely disappointed in the NB government cutting all librarians at the end of this year. Our literacy rates are far from where they should be and now taking out libraries where many kids develop a love for reading. Books and the librarians who manage them are essential in learning. #SusanHolt

Hanwell, 31% -34% of the vote tends to win this riding, we are the only ones in NB that are strongly leaning CPC, Tobique-Mactaquac. Last few elections over 38,000 did not vote conservative (voted other parties or did not vote).
Not voting is a vote. Please vote. We deserve a seat at the table.
