When I read news like this, I only want to know how they managed to fix the object so quickly to the wall in a heavily guarded museum. What do they use? Gecko / nano tape?

And a carpenter friend who works for a social housing corp showed me which apps they use to keep track of their work with sit reps, progress, quantities of materials used, etc. Very detailed but a nightmare for those with dyslexia - not uncommon for manual laborers.
A friend showed me another app in which a contractor shared updates with a group of residents about a multi-year infra project. They clearly used their own photo documentation of the work on site taken from whatever cloud service they use. So cool.
Basically documentation with pictures of before and after situations of city maintenance. I had no idea there was such a wealth of information around. I’ll start digging!

Our city allows its residents to report damage and other issues about public spaces. Whenever I have time during dog walks, I take pics and report problems. Sometimes these citizen co-labs work really well, like here, when they even sent me the before and after photos. What’s not to love?
Leftover yarn party continued: the lace mesh stitch did me doubt my sanity - and many errors were made - but I managed to conquer all and produce a market shopping bag. It’s tall enough to house a 🥖 or a giant leek. Amazing how a ball of yarn can become something so voluminous.

AI slop meets second hand clothing apps. It’s not even clear if the seller or the platform generated these images, if the seller is private, commercial, human or bot. The rot is everywhere and hard to escape.
Today, I was invited to clean, sharpen and lubricate hand tools for a communal garden. The grass shears pictured were almost given up after a vital part went missing during disassembly. By sheer luck I salvaged it from the bin someone had chucked it in thinking it was plastic rubbish. Such relief!
