This site remains an inadequate resource that is still miles better than the alternatives. That said, there are things that need to be improved for me to spend more time here. This site was successful in getting me to quit x but I haven't learned easily enough how to customize it for what I want.
For fans of Jet Lag The Game, this is a decent version using the JL home game while we are inbetween Jet Lag seasons. Good production. Filmed in Toronto. youtu.be/CICiV6I7SuE
Just watching late night YT and getting scam ads with AI Wayne Gretzky and AI Mark Carney and somewhat compelling video. "Make $1000/day auth from Royal Bank". Google needs to be held financially accountable for running this advertising and you cannot change my mind. It's only going to get worse.
The great part is the realization that it never was common. It's basically a loaded term at this point and maybe always was a loaded term as well.
On the other sites, her bad-faith engagement would amplify her account and gain her follows. On here she will probably end up on more moderation lists than anything. π€£
Maybe they have layaway.
Couple of players at the PWHL Finals got their masks stuck together and the referee didn't stop the game right away so they did a little pirouette before the whistle finally blew
And now as new inventory is coming in, the American ones are slowly getting the T in a triangle on the electronic shelf label to indicate that they are tariffed. I wouldn't have guessed that a few of the things were American.

I eat my credit card so that I can pay at the checkout by tapping my stomach on the pinpad. But do go off.
Hammer 7, saw 3, so toolbox 17 & all = 27?
Did you try applying with the name and resume of a different but identically named David Moscrop?
There's a few accounts like that one that are completely insufferable and you won't miss at all if you add to your block list.
I'd like a "turn down topic volume" also. Some US politics: ok fine. Dominating my π¨π¦ feed: π
A few interesting SS. That said it needs a deeper dive. As there is going to be a % of that where the change is voter A went Lib->Con and voter B went NDP->Lib, rather than just voter A NDP->Con. But there is for sure some of the latter also.
So getting some sort of local polling data and for more information to be available should've been a bare minimum. But if there is no local polling data at all, then how can there always be good recommendations..
This is one of the flaws of the smartvoting type sites. It's trying to tell us on day 1 of the election campaign who is the strategic choice, in this case often before local candidates were even decided. The intentions are good, but the strategy could be improved.
164+8 or 165+7 (it just flipped on my screen)... if those hold, it seems like a possible path for stability. I don't think anyone wants another election any time soon.
Vote share still holding at 160/266 π€
I think I read somewhere the boundaries of your riding changed. Can you confirm I'm remembering that right?
Hot start for the CPC: more than 10 seats in Atlantic Canada and theyβre rolling. But @stephenmaher.bsky.social noted the advance vote, heavily Liberal, isnβt in yet
Even if some of them are "obvious", if you see enough fakes, you will eventually get a few wrong.
That said, with the state of things, I've assumed that a few things were fake that turned out to be true.
Something something Poe's law. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poe's_l...
I was critical that JT didn't resign sooner. But this seems to have played out in a near-best case scenario, that I don't think would've turned out the same way if the resignation had happened earlier.
Let's see if we are collectively smart enough to go out and vote tomorrow.
Corporate leaders are obsessing over GDP per capita.
But, if you look at just about any number that would meaningfully tell you how well our economy is doing, Canada does better than the U.S.

They can't. And anyone can say what they like about Kory/Nick/et al, but I have yet to see an instance where their polling was way out to lunch. So I don't even think it's hopium. But people need to finish the job and go vote.
I think people underestimate how quickly it will be for the LLMs to improve and to be more accurate and more useful. Probably a similar pattern to Moore's Law, except it could be a different timeframe than 18 months.
