Hey, remember a few weeks ago when I said this game is "a keenly-observed look at young adult life/love in the early 2000s" and also "the writing is exceptional, balancing wry humor with raw emotional honesty?" No? Well, it's still true, except now the game's on sale. SUPPORT INDIE DEVS!

yeah, that was great -- and your "father" scientist not-so-subtly hinting you should maybe be recording everything the crazed politician is saying.
I also enjoyed the coda, although older me recognizes it's a little too much wish fulfillment. But hey, we've been through a lot by then!

It was so formally different and daring for its time - I remember reviewers grousing about the lack of puzzles or challenge. Also appreciated it had something to say about the world (even if it wasn't particularly subtle).

CAIRN is terrific -- its focused, unique climbing mechanic feels natural & is challenging without feeling unfair; the survival mechanics feel appropriate to the environment & aren't cumbersome to the point of annoyance. Plus there are tons of accessibility/difficulty adjustments. Big thumbs up!

Kristi Noem misattributing a paraphrase of Rudyard Kipling to George Orwell really does sum it all up huh

I think it was George Orwell who said you can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't finger the nostrils of your colleagues and spouses

We're launching this summer! And I gotta say, having a game I'm working on pop up in a Nintendo stream? Kinda neat.
