The "Class of 30" has changed: 19.3% of pupils have Special Educational Needs. 40% of those require formal 1-to-1 Statements. In every class of 30, at least 6 children need significant additional support. Teachers are now first responders to a complex ecosystem. 🎒🧠
The Northern Ireland primary landscape has shifted. Our classrooms are facing a "triple threat": a 51% surge in SEN Statements, a mental health crisis with anxiety rates 25% higher than the UK average, and the inevitable rise of Generative AI.
