See like I understand why some people really like Kelly, but this type of stuff is exactly why this man will never be president.

I just think all dispensaries should have pinball machines
Like, Elon Musk gave a Nazi salute and the ADL said oh actually he's just stimming because he's pro-Israel.
What they did by going after Mamdani was demonstrate that there is little political advantage to be gained by condemning antisemitism while also condemning the state of Israel. The ADL condemned Mamdani more than they've condemned Graham Platner, and as much or more than Candace Owens!
Canβt have student loan relief, canβt fund public education, canβt provide public healthcare, canβt build housing, canβt get a good job, canβt fund research to cure/treat illness and disease, canβt build green energy, canβt solve hunger and illness in the global south, but at least we can have this.
The South ending Reconstruction and plunging their populations into a backward looking culture and economy until it was forced to modernize by the Civil Rights movement is imo a very clean parallel.
Alex LaMorie, a 25-year-old autistic man, was fatally shot by police in Maryland after authorities say he approached officers while holding a knife.
LaMorieβs family and advocates say they want answers and accountability.
Thatβs a score
Thatβs a playbook Iβve heard before.

Worth thinking about in advance what it'll look like when certain Democrats defect in 2028 to the GOP over the most mild criticism of Israel from the presidential nominee (who will not be Newsom, but in all likelihood will be far more critical than him)
Heathcliff sits contemplatively in an armchair, surrounded by several framed pictures of meat, with a few pieces of meat hanging from the ceiling on wires. Grandma Nutmeg stands at the doorway with her friend and says "His aesthetic is meat core."

Arapahoe County assembly results in US Senate preference poll. Julie Gonzales won 59.1% of the cotes (243), John Hickenlooper 20.9% (86), Karen Breslin won 13.9% (57), Jessica Williams won .7% (3 delegates), and Uncommitted won 22 (5.4%). Only candidates getting over 15% are allotted delegates to the state assembly.
Arapahoe County Democratic Assembly. John Hickenlooper should be shaking in his boots. These are the party faithful. These are the people who knock doors, the people who raise money, the people who influence others.
@senadorajulie.bsky.social
I really wish people online would give Julie more money. Itβs flying under the radar for most people out of state. But so important!
The internet is such a weird place and just finding out your friends are dead months later feels fucking weird!
Just read that my friend @rehague.bsky.social passed away in December. Sigh. Iβll miss you Ryan.
Donβt step foot in Ocean County then.
Yeah thatβs Colts Neck for you.

I watched all of Firefly and now Iβm sad
I dunno, if I were Jeffrey Goldberg, author of "How Did I Get Iraq Wrong?' (2008), I might pause for a moment before cheerleading another war in the same region.
