Still wrapping our heads around it. Still incredibly thankful.

Massive gratitude to Wendy & Chris for the love, the time, and the sharp eyes. And to every player, backer, retailer, and late-night playtester who believed in an indie game from India - this moment is yours. โค๏ธ๐ฎ๐ณ
THIS JUST HAPPENED. ๐คฏ๐
Tycoon: India 1981 has earned the Seal of Excellence from The Dice Tower - a badge very few games ever get. ๐ฅ Watch the review: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yfz4...
A digital drawing of one of those drawing tutorials that says 'don't do this, do this.' The drawing is of an almost naked middle-aged man doing a flying kick. The 'Don't do this' one has a bunch of areas circled and a cross under it. The 'Do this' one is exactly the same but without the circles and a tick instead of a cross. The text reads 'Needlessly adding red circles will ruin your art' and a smaller bit of text at the bottom reads 'Bonus tip! Add a tick under all your art so people think you did it right.'
#3157 A helpful tutorial
Thanks sire !
Sharing a snapshot of the 7 distinct games that were born out ofย thisย exercise. #gamedesign #cds #workshop
The students split into groups, built their own frameworks, and ended up creating fully functional games from scratch. A beautiful experience overall; some of the projects were genuinely impressive! The future of Indian game design looks bright :)
Had an amazing and intense 3-week board game design workshop at Chitkara Design School. We spent the first days playing and dissecting games, then dove deep into the design process, common mechanics and the grind of iterative development.
Final days to go and weโre so close to our next Stretch Goal!
Over the weekend, Anand Boardgame Club in Gujarat played Tadoba, Sinauli, and Muziris in full PNP format โ with laughs, competition, and even a last-round 1-point upset in Sinauli!

Got to play Wroth and Tycoon: India 1981 with Adam tonight. Wroth is interesting and quick but didnโt work great at 2. Tycoon: India 1981 is a great economic euro and Iโm excited to play it again.

๐By focusing on places we are truly passionate about, we have created games that tell authentic stories rooted in our heritage. Our aim is to share the rich history and cultural significance of these regions with players across the world.
๐งกAt IBGDC, the decision to base our games around Tadoba, Sinauli, and Muziris comes from a deeply personal place. These regions are close to the hometowns of our core team membersโDeepak from Kerala, Amit from Maharashtra, and Neha from Uttar Pradesh.

Thanks so much, Shyam, for your kind words. Iโm indeed working on connecting with more retailers so that more people can discover and enjoy this game. Shipping individual orders from India has become quite expensive, so any help or leads would be truly appreciated!
Yay, have fun!!
Means a lot! Happy gaming :)
