Why the huge difference in prices? The dentist in Algadones is under Mexican malpractice law & has very cheap business insurance, or so they told my dad.
I think it is more than the price of malpractice insurance that makes the difference, it is also profit motive so baked into everything in the US.
Health care in the US is for profit, not for people. My dad needed some dental implants. Dentists in California quoted $10,000-15,000. A dentist in Algadones, charged him $1,200. All 3 Dentists received their degree & training at USC in SoCal. All 3 live on the California side of the border.

Local tiny horse, think as tall as a great dane dog but in horse shape and horse temperament, came up to the RV's door and stood on the steps until I fed him to small carrots.
