We moved today. Every bone in my body hurts. Lost my Apple Pencil only to learn water remediation had hurled it off a 3 story high patio. I am.... beyond tired.

There's a light at the end of the tunnel hopefully... the complex said they'd try to compensate us some because it's their fault a pipe burst due to negligence and we are touring a really cute new place tomorrow 🤍

I'd just made the place into what resembled a home and then all this happened. I went in today to clear out the debris and cried again. And of course we had no renters insurance because I'm an idiot.

Spinning out and feeling sad. Lost well over 10 grand worth of things in the flood, including our bed. Everything in this photo is basically gone save for my cat thank Everything.... keep us in your thoughts my dudes.

For the most part we got the expensive stuff out okay. But everything in our bedroom is totally toast. So new mattress and all. Insurance is to be determined if it'll cover anything.

Thank you 🤍 I'm still reeling from it and there's turning out to be some legal issues cropping up... my next few months are gonna be interesting.

Pets are okay. Me and partner are okay. Our stuff? Not so much.
