Yes the cover is in terrible shape but the interior pages are surprisingly solid.
Anyway, still counts. 53 to go! #SpiderMan

I also did something I've never done before: flipped a new book I paid 4.99 for on Wednesday and sold it for $50 on Saturday. Just crazy. If you follow the new releases every week, you probably can guess which book that was.
Taking off my collector hat and doing the comics vendor thing for the second time ever. Did pretty well--at least for my modest expectations. #comicsky #comics

Some fun life size photo op installations at the exhibition: Can pose next to a swinging Spidey or get caught in the tentacles of Doc Ock!

Still 2 weeks to check out the "Marvel's Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing" Exhibition at Chicago's Griffin Museum of Science + Industry. Ends Feb 8!
Besides many cool exhibits (see earlier posts), there is also an ENTIRE museum shop devoted solely to Spidey merch. I dreamed of this as a kid!

Authentic props used in the Spidey movies!
On display at the "Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing" exhibit at Griffin Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago:
Spider-Man (2002) - Goblin mask & pumpkin bomb
Spider-Man 2 (2004) - Doc Ock claw & goggles
Spider-Man 3 (2007) - Various props (camera from TASM)
Another cool feature at the "Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing" exhibit at Griffin Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago:
A typewritten first page of the script for ASM #82 (published in 1969 & one of the first Spidey comics I ever bought as a very young kid)--with handwritten edits by Stan.

Finally made it to the Griffin Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago to check out the "Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing" exhibit.
Something for Spidey fans of all ages and the crowd reflected that.
The biggest highlight for me? Getting to see this in person for the first time ever! #SpiderMan
This is it!

The rollercoaster of comic blind bags (Monster and The Wolf version - 10 bags total):
The ups: First 6 bags-->3 trick covers (1:100 ratio)
The downs: After 10 bags-->3 repeats

Kind of weird that it's only happened three times ever and two were by the Packers in the last month-igami.
Thoughts on this "All New, All Daring" era of PPTSS?
(released July 16, 1985; art by Rich Buckler)
I didn't know how much I needed to hear someone else say this. Thank you.
I personally agree with your first point. But they didn't have the rights so hard to blame them for moving on with a different focal point.
This was back in the theaters this weekend & it was so fun to see it on the big screen again after 23 years.
Some of the effects don't hold up but this is still one of the best comic book movies of all time & probably my favorite.
This was the movie that made Marvel realize the MCU was possible.
That's fair. Not quite up to Whiplash status.
Firebrand is almost too good for this group lol. Crimson Dynamo was another--I never really even understood what he was all about but he cool.
Fingers crossed!
I love the Iron Man C-Listers! Melter, Dr. Spectrum (my personal favorite), Blizzard...I really enjoyed all of them when I was young and there's still a fondness there.
I even created my own back then: The Drill! And he was just what he sounds like--a costumed guy with a giant drill! π

Ad for second Spidey-Supes crossover (July 1981).
Whatβs a movie people wouldn't believe youβve never seen?
