Turf Hotel on the Surrey side. Obviously, we need to bring back the King Neptune restaurant on the New Westminster side. The all-you-can-eat seafood buffet was the jewel in the crown.
The Turf Hotel and bar fishing along the Fraser. Clearly, your father never showed you the sights on the Surrey end of the Pattulo. A short bus ride from there to the pick-a-part wreckers to get a new (used) water pump for your Dart.
sick
Does it have particles yet, or do you still need to use Popcorn FX?
Awesome!
Anything PKD is awesome
If you get tickets for the PNE, get some food, get some beers, maybe see a show, uber/cab there and back, tips, it's easily a $300 night for two adults.
I became an electrician for a while. I really enjoyed the random things that would happen when working on physical things in physical locations that just never happen working on games. When I came back to games, it was the random encounters and happenings that I missed the most.
Understandable. For people that want to get closer to that aesthetic, they can work within those limitations. It was a big part of the PS2 look.
PS2 textures were mainly 64 x 64 and 4-bit (16 colors per texture) to fit the PS2's 8k texture cache. If you wanted something larger, you either reduced the colors or you took a texture cache miss.
Amazing work as always
Everything game-dev related is better now. Engines are free and amazing. Tools like Blender are free. IDEs are free or cheap. There are free tutorials with easy access and instant translation. Indie games keep getting better. We are in a golden age for game-dev, and it will only get better. ๐

WHY? Monkey demands answers.
You should read about Russell Hurlburt's research. He's found that approximately 60% of people do not or have very little inner monologue. They do not make their decisions based on logical argument. There are disagreements with his work, but I think it makes sense based on the behaviours we see.
I'm surprised there isn't an online store for all these "people." Clothes4Freakz dot com
Maybe something like this. I think the midpoint works, the hardness is in the ballpark but I think you want a different sort of contrast.
Curry ketchup > plain ketchup in (plastic or glass bottle)
Sick. I fought for years to get designers to add mic-activated features to mobile and VR games, and they always refused. You gotta do things yourself, so well done.
I had an idea for a game called Depressed Pong. It's pong, but the paddles have depression.
Noita - always surprises me
Hunter: CotW - I love the stealth mechanics in this game.
any Fallout Game : I love exploring a wasteland, and killing stuff. The missions are usually interesting enough, but I enjoy seeing the end result the most. Tenpenny Tower mission in Fallout 3, for example.
Steve is awesome
And now planning to spend $65 billion on AI or 10,833x what DeepSeek cost. ๐
Ubik is a little confusing on the first read, in my opinion, but it's a great book. The most straightforward PKD novel is Dr. Bloodmoney. I am shocked it hasn't been made into a movie.
It's a nice spot for ice fishing in the winter, but the ice is thin so I would fish from the walkway.
+1 for object pooling
