What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word: Accessibility?

Working on my accessibility site, itβs soon accessible enough to make public. Then I just need to fill it with some good articles.
What do you want to read about?

100% when I see someone βExplaining WCAG in simple languageβ I find inaccurate or contradicting information within the first 30 seconds of looking at the resource. And I think thatβs harmful.
Are you still here?
Any gamers around? I'm looking for a list of the most popular esports sites around? I need to make a top 5 list for a little project.
Please help me out with the list and also please help me share this message.

Referring to accessibility as a "mountain we have to climb" is not a good look.
This is interesting:
5 WCAG criteria account for 49% of all issues (text contrasts, name role value, info and relationships, focus visible, and alt texts).
10 WCAG criteria account for 70% of all issues.

Thats cool!
I made a website. It's called "one million chessboards." It has a million chessboards on it.
moving a piece moves it for everyone, instantly. No turns. You can move between boards.
that's it. Have fun!

Testing apps with TalkBack is fun, but all the repetition about "double tap to activate" makes me crazy. Isn't there a better way to do this?
A man with a computer and a scary look. With a text: if you don't want me to hunt you. LEARN BASIC HTML
Got this sent to me today after posting about that I just complain about other people's code as my work nowadays!
You don't necessarily need to say "image of" in your alt text for users to know it's an image. Screen readers will announce that it's an image. But it can help readers to specify if it's a hand-drawn image, Polaroid, infographic, screenshot, chart, map, diagram, or so on.
Marty McFly & Doc Brown in western wear from 1885
The distance in years from 1955 back to 1885 is the same as the distance in years from 2025 to 1955.
I like when your colleagues ask you when your favorite sports team plays their home game so I can travel there to watch them and we can book client meetings around that date.
Priorities!
Hello world? :)
Does anyone know how/if Trump's new tariffs will impact, for example, an EU-based company that will use Stripe or PayPal as payment providers?
Accepted 18 meeting invites today. When will I have time to work?
How did it go?
Congratulations! Good luck! I just started a smaller one alone. I hope I can get this online in a few weeks; that would be cool!
New SaaS idea!
And let's make it accessible for everyone!
I don't write this to be harsh against anyone or any client. It's a common thing around EVERYONE.
I think it's important to be humble when it comes to taking on the task of fixing accessibility problems; not everything need to be done at the same time. Just start somewhere and go from there
I don't think that many people working with the web know how much needs to be done right for a site to be compliant with the accessibility acts.
I often hear, "We work a lot with accessibility" and when you audit their sites or services, you find so much so you don't even know where to start.
I might go to @ffconf.org this year; I hope to see a lot of accessibility content!
Ping designers.
It's great when you sign a client for accessibility work and they want to do a lot of work with us, but they are not even included in the EAA. Then you know they are prioritizing the correct thing when it comes to accessibility!
Accessibility it is.
antagonist: Is accessibility really that helpful?
Also the antagonist: zooming in to see the content in the Figma file.
Me: isn't screen magnification great? π
I can hear @nerajno.bsky.social now... "Why are you like this?" π
Hello! Are there any #accessibility or #Gaming content creators that I could hire for a small accessibility related project?
We really need to get back to basics when it comes to HTML.
There aren't many senior developers that know HTML.
I'm doing a log of accessibility Audis for world leading companies and there are so many things that could have been solved with developers knowing BASIC HTML.
A common question about alt text is how to determine whether alt text is "too long" or "too short." The answer to this is that it depends on context. That's not always a comforting answer to people just want a prescriptive "yes" or "no," but there is no one-size-fits-all answer.
