My maze generator and 3D viewer is slowly coming together, though that window in the wall (view full sized to see it) is not supposed to be there!
Yes, typically a farm is a business (and this probably makes the difference on a legal definition).
But if someone grew crops on a large field and didn't sell them (maybe a communal garden) , surely that's still farming?
π€
Deep thinking about this and going a little cross eyed π
Large green field with houses in the distance
Interesting question from my 9yr old son.
"What makes you a farmer? If I grew potatoes in the garden, would i be a farmer? "
It's a fair question. Where is the threshold? veg patch, allotment or field of minimum size?
Note: photo is not my garden lol
Giving my vambraces a nourish and wax ahead of #PortsmouthComicCon next week.

It's interesting when the Internet goes out here. Our kids are forced to realise just what the Internet powered for them!
No, you can't just watch YouTube and no, fortnite won't work either.
This one amused me π
Whipsnade. Kids got in for free with the blue Peter badges
Flamingo standing on one leg
Two flamingos facing each other with curved necks in the shape of a heart
Deer standing to attention clearly staring at something in the distance
Giraffe looking at the camera
Fun family day out. Brought the camera with us as usual π

Whilst I have also been watching the news a lot recently and can't wait for the boring times ahead, I have thought for many years that retirement is a pipe dream for many now.
Hmmm, what's the IP rating on a standard wall socket?
You should automate the sunlight once you have automated the lights in your home. I have tried #SwitchBotRollerShade from #SwitchBot to automate my blinds, and the results are here:

Last week, I attended the #EmbeddedWorld expo in Nuremberg, Germany. We shot over 20 interviews in two days and I discovered what embedded tech you should expect in 2025! Don't miss my coverage, and head to #electromaker to check it out!

Agreed. The reviews say it's a flop. But I actually liked it.
The open front door of the Hitchin Hackspace is in the centre of the image. The Hackspace is a single storey brick built building, a former public convenience. Just to the right of the door is a small square topped folding table with some handouts and flyers on it. To the right of the table is a "pop-up" banner about 2m tall with photos and information about the repair cafe events.
A mechanical typewriter in need of some tlc is stood on a workbench. It's outer casing has been removed and the person holding the machine is working on the carriage of the typewriter. Their fingers show signs that the typewriter may have had a nibble / resisted the efforts to fix it.
Another repair candidate, this time a sewing machine is being worked on. The lower bobbin compartment is open. The foot pedal is on the bench to the right in the foreground.
A general view of the inside of the Hackspace. On the left are pairs of tables next to the wall with repairers sat at the tables working on items. At a second pair of tables some visitors are watching a repair underway. Just behind them, on the right of the central gangway are the Hackspace 3d printers sat on their storage cupboards. In the background are the doors through in to the wood/metal workshop area of the Hackspace.
We have had something of a hiatus with our #RepairCafe events run by #PlasticFreeHitchin and hosted at the #Hackspace. This was because of insurance issues... All sorted now. As there was a bit of a repair backlog our first event was invite only and held last Saturday with no pre publicity.
I bought a Tesla because it was fast like a rocket ship. But now every time I drive it, I feel like a rolling billboard for a man dismantling our government and hurting people. So Tesla, youβre fired!
New ride coming soon.
Secondary careers fair selfie.
Stunning sunset here on the Norfolk coast this evening.

Great #CamJam today. Loads of great conversations with visitors (grown ups and kids), and with old friends (grown up big kids). On my feet all day so my knees hurt now. I was too busy to take any pictures.
A smiling Mikey
Delighted to report that Β£132 was raised for charity from Mike's Box of Bargains at #CamJam. This will be split equally between Accolade Hounds dog charity and Addenbrookes PICU. Thanks everyone! :-)
