Pretty sure when they started imposing this idiocy they assured a bunch of judges that they would be able to refund the money with no problem if it ever came to that.

If the Democrats had media arms like the Republicans, they'd send word out to their equivalents of Fox News, Newsmax, CBS News, (soon) CNN, and talk radio to hammer this for months.
But the Democrats have no equivalents of those propaganda machines.
