I worked as a waiter and bartender for years, there's not a piece of food in our grocery stores or restaurants that wasn't touched by immigrant workers who are some of the hardest working people in our country and who contribute to our economy while providing a better life for their families.

ICE must stop targeting the families and non-criminals who are following the rules of the system and who contribute to our society and economy.
This is insane. The protests have dissipated and the people currently gathered are peacefully exercising their 1st Amendment rights. Mobilizing Marines on US soil is a completely unwarranted escalation.
And if far left populist politics continues to forbid us from actually implementing the things we promised voters (e.g. Housing, high speed rail, infrastructure investments) then more and more voters will continue to leave our party and political engagement all together.
This is a fantastic piece. The most popular policies can die through failed implementation.

This is a major point of my campaign. The politicians who have been in power for most of my life and the whole lives of Gen Z'ers are not equipped to legislate for where the world is now.
It's not about liberal bona fides. It is about how we fundamentally want the world to operate.

Sherman should be fighting to get this housing built ASAP at an actually realistic price instead of just hoping for more money.
This is what the Abundance movement is talking about: Insane regulations, legal challenges, and endless bureaucracy mean that in Los Angeles, the VA is saying it will cost $3.3billion to build 6,000 units of Veteran's housing. And Rep Brad Sherman seems totally fine with $550,000 per unit!
The people of California's 32nd district deserve a leader who can plainly say what they stand for. These are my priorities. This is what I will fight for in Congress. And I will always fight for my constituents.
