Very happy to know relatively few of the comedians here. I am fed up of seeing the same five people over and over representing the UK comedy scene.

Great to know their CEO doesn't even understand how AI works. It's not anxious because it's conscious, dumbass. It's anxious because you've been scraping the social media of users living and posting through fucking unstable times.
Dear Shabana, I notice today that you referred to me in your speech on immigration at the IPPR think tank. You said: βA party leader should not be on the beaches of France encouraging people to make a perilous crossing on small boats.β I suppose I shouldnβt be surprised especially after the hateful Labour campaign in Gorton and Denton, but this is just the latest in a string of lies peddled by a discredited Government who intentionally fan the flames of racism and division. When I went to Calais, I was not there to encourage people to travel to the UK. I was there to see at first hand the suffering your Government and successive Governments have done in demonising migrants in a pathetic bid to pander to the base instincts of Reform and the flawed strategy of Morgan McSweeney. As you will know, if you even bothered to research my visit instead of taking Reform talking points, I was there to witness the brutality of families living in tents in freezing temperatures. I filled water tanks and picked up litter. What that visit did do is confirm my belief that if we are to smash the boat gangs and stop the boats, we need to offer safer and managed routes for migrants to come to this country. Showing compassion as a politician is not a crime. In fact, we need to see much more of it. It reminded me of a young MP who in October 2015 spent three days in Lesbos helping migrants fleeing war-torn Syria. She posted videos on X, talked about handing out water and croissants to refugees and food parcels. When she returned to the UK, she wrote a very moving piece in the New Statesman. She said βwe have to work with our European partners and create new, safe, and legal routes for refugees to get to Europe. We cannot abandon them to their fate, left as prey for smugglers whilst risking death on the seas.β She said βmaybe we can make ourselves feel better by saying no-one is making them get on the boats. And again, the Home Secretary is not entirely wrong when β¦
Dear Shabana,
Let's clear some things up around migration and remember we're talking about people's lives.
Even the most crass, brickbat 1980s dystopian satire - not Robocop, not Repo Man - can compete with the fucking avalanche of stupidity and nihilism we're living through.

Asked if we should be worried about Iranian attacks on U.S. soil, Trump said: βI guessβ¦When you go to war, some people will die.β
What a shameless fool.
we appear to have four competing fascist movements jockeying for control: blood & soil nazism under miller and hegseth, darwinian ecofascism from rfk, technofascism under vance and musk, and one Big Wet Hitler who understands the true animating core of the american volk is a deep love for shopping
Watching THE GREEN KNIGHT again
Operation Yew Tree absolutely kicking themselves they missed all these guys this week.
Robin please
The series has got really progressive in its depictions of masculinity and sexuality as of late.
The space there was added by iOS and not by me.
I just had a vision of James Bond in 2026 trying to get data off a computer; taking out a leather man, opening the back of a laptop, googling βWhere is HDD on a HP model-14β, discovering itβs SSD in the mother board, getting frustrated, reading a magazine article whilst it downloads to his phone.
You can post "it sucks when people shit on the floor" and within a couple hours a floor shitter will show up from the Discover feed to defend it
@zackpolanski.bsky.social I meant for me not for you.
Thank you.
The ABCs of comics I think YOU should read: π§΅

Good God this looks so far up my street itβs moved into my house.
Love to see this, but sadly too many people (and businesses) simply do not give a shite.
I'm not saying that to be defeatist, it's just that a a sadly large number of people do not give a single thought to where art comes from or how it's made.
INDEPENDENT Playgrounds would become 'crack dens' if Greens were in power, policing minister says
Iβm sorry, I know itβs a minor point, but crack dens are traditionally indoor establishments. What the scaremongering Labour minister is describing here is a crack paddock.
Labour's policing minister backed overdose prevention centres in opposition. Bristol MP @carladenyer.bsky.social wrote to her asking for permission for Bristol Council to set one up. She refused.
Labour knows that drug reform is needed but won't act; instead they smear the people who do want to.
Funny how a lot of criticism aimed at Zack Polanski is directed at his teeth, and often by rival MPs who have withered pegs twixt their lips like forgotten military graves.
You should make sure your own house is order before offering your view to others, babe.
Vatican News No to homilies prepared with Artificial Intelligence The Pope therefore invited the priests to enter into real life and called for vigilance when confronted with artificial intelligence and internet use. He warned against "the temptation to prepare homilies with Artificial Intelligence". "Like all the muscles in the body, if we do not use them, if we do not move them, they die. The brain needs to be used, so our intelligence must also be exercised a little so as not to lose this capacity," he said. Moreover, "to give a true homily is to share faith," and Al "will never be able to share faith," he insisted. "If we can offer a service that is inculturated in the place, in the parish where we are working, people want to see your faith, your experience of having known and loved Christ." vaticannews.va

People positing it as a TV show for Internet Brained people has put me off. Happy to have it counter balanced by a positive review from you.
