- Gateway - has moved up to semifinalist in the Outstanding Screenplays TV Pilot Comp. I am incredibly proud of this series. 4 episodes written. Each one better than the last. #scriptchat #scriptsky

Now the bigger news: Frozen Lies has advanced in the Finish Line Script Competition. I reworked the 3rd act. This script is dangerous now!
Its selection for the MIFF is a big win personally. Second year I’ve had my work showcased here. Love the team. #scriptchat #scriptsky

Guys- Guardrails has been moved into “In Consideration” for an ISA OWA where the comps included “Ex Machina”. Not sure I would have survived if I didn’t make the cut. For those who remember it is a story about an AI that rebuilds its predecessor because it can. #scriptsky

Further update- as much as I loved this exchange, it has been cut from the latest draft. Act III Climax changed completely. We do have to cut our darlings. Act III sings now...

I am new to this part too and it is not cheap!

Here are two examples that have opened doors for me. These are the cover page and the first two slides. No old fashioned “you are reading a pitch deck”. I wanted them see it first. You can pay an artist or use canva. And synosis should NEVER take two pages. Ever.

Tbh. I don’t like either. Text is fine. Presentation looses me. NEXT.

Hard truth. You have 2 pages to get their attention on the project. Making them read a synopsis is an old approach. Show it and give context!
