I found the setting that turns off "You're not done setting up your PC" popup every time you update Windows!
Settings / System / Notifications / Scroll to find 'Additional Settings' and uncheck these

Working on code to generate some rivers. Here is a visualization of trying out river paths from different starting locations. It flows downhill, sometimes creates wide rivers & lakes, and terminates when it hits the ocean or another river

Just realized in Unity you can just call particleSystem.Emit() with whatever position / misc parameters you want, to spawn single particles. I had been creating and managing tons of particle systems instead...
