Danger Man's theme tune for the second series is one of the briefest bits of TV music I've heard. And yet the series employs three variants of the theme.

Me getting ITV Studios and the Nigel Kneale estate in the same room together:
Right lads, what do we think - Danger Man & Quatermass double-bill, yeah?
Replacement Sonic Bomber easily acquired and is on the way. Such is first world problems, innit. Wonky sticker application gives me further excuses to have a second go on the guy.
Big Powered being big and powered.
Me, finishing making the Kabaya Bid Powered model kit: Yeeeaahh!
Me, snapping one of Sonic Bomber's legs, ruining the figure: Nnnooooo!
For the sheer novelty of actually managing to find such a thing, and despite having spent the last two years acquiring fillings and crowns, we went to an NHS dentist today.
"Not bad at all" is the current state of my mouth. Back in six months for a cheeky 20 quid. Amazing.
Oh gosh, hope it's as smooth a day as possible for you, boss. A cheeky scream into the void while no-one's looking may be beneficial. π«

He's a sharp lad! Always loved the hyperactive colour schemes of the Japanese-era G1 charactersl
Goodnight from the 400 bus to London, where Joan Gale is aware certain passengers seem to disappear without ever getting off. Goodnight from Charlie Merrick, worried he hasnβt done enough to prevent his sins from being recorded in the Bone Angelβs Book of Reckonings. Goodnight from Hookland.
Kabaya RoadFire striking what might charitably termed a 'pose'.
A funky ass Cybertronian hovercraft.
Had a go at my first ever Transformers model kit this evening. A little wonky on the 20-year-old stickers, but Road Fire's turned out pretty slick!
Just working on @illusclaire.bsky.social's last few notes on my Courier Z volume 3 scripts, including the long-threatened story about gravy. Back the v2 Kickstarter now so we can get these over to artists ASAP.

Worse news
Everyoneβs Dropbox folders are full to bursting with sitcom scripts & treatments. And itβs harder than ever to get a meeting or a reply to an email. Iβm so tired.
FYI for fellow narrative designers/game writers: the studio in question is Sentona Games and itβs my understanding they are currently interviewing to replace me. Be very careful with them. They were very nice to me and easy to work with right up until I needed the money I was promised.
That one came in at number #3 - beaten by Pit of Peril!!
Guess I'd better get started on the last ever Thunderbirds Deep Dive.
Can you guess which episode got voted as the number #1 greatest Thunderbirds episode ever?
Yeah, the walking distance looks very agreeable. Oh I'm almost certainly gonna do it all over again, be great to see you too!
I might switch up hotels this year. Ubering back and forth between the Hilton and Premier Inn was... fine, if a faff. The stinger was getting lumbered with a parking fine from the owners of the PI car park, despite having paid for my time there. Urgh! The nearby Moxy looks like a safer bet?
That dealer hall was *rammed* on the Saturday. Had to park up on several occasions and unplug as best as possible. I think I overestimated just how full-on my first time would be. Still, powered through, drank lots of water, saw some incredible bots and people.
TFNation tickets coming up soon - hugely tempted to go again!
I had such a lovely if overwhelming time doing my first ever TFN last year. Brilliant vibes, but also a lot to experience! I just spent the whole weekend in a daze in that trader hall oblivious to the passage of time.
Kitbashing industrial equipment together to create spaceships is not a terrible approach.

6 panel comic P1: title panel. "Tactical Philosophical Action: STEALTH MAN SOLID" P2: A cardboard box lies open side down, its flaps splayed on the ground before it. Through a small rectangular hole on the front-facing side of the box, a pair of eyes stare out. A thought bubble coming from the box says "hrrrm, Am I ALIVE--" P3: "--or am I DEAD" P4: "I won't know 'til the guards find me" P5: We dolly back to reveal the box is surrounded by countless other boxes, all stacked haphazardly around it P6: Same, but now one final thought bubble comes from the box we've been following 'til now "this may take a while"

If you want to know how the British print news industry ends (which is, de facto, amazingly still what supports most newspaper websites) it's the distribution channels getting banjaxed. When you lose "TG Jones" etc even people who want a paper can't get one. That'll be the real start of the ending.
