Such a lovely vibrant color. I think the plant is not well appreciated because it is so often planted by freeways. It is perfect there but nice enough for in a garden too.

They had names. They had beautiful faces. And they had the same dreams as your kids - crushed when American "precision" bombs slammed into their Minab elementary school, killing 175
Don't blame AI for this. Blame the sick humans who see war as a game

Very glad you are home. Youβll feel better soon!

When my stepmother was in hospice she was sad sheβd never get to see another spring. I sent her several spring issues of English Garden magazine and she kept them on her chest for whenever she was awake enough to peruse. She said it was the best Motherβs Day gift I ever got her. Thx for the reminder
A magnolia tree in full bloom. 3 grey main stems break into hot pink petal backs of white flowers. Looking closely there are lots of brown spots on the flowers, probably from hail damage. Even scarred they are beautiful.
I'm not sure what these little guys are called but have heard them referred to as shamrock. Very low growing bright yellow blossoms under an evergreen shrub. The foliage is somewhat clover like.
Pretty flowers for cheering up a crappy day. #bloomscrolling
This adorable moppet needs good vibes sent his way. #dogsofbluesky
Yep, bluebells are deer food, even when interspersed with daffodils!
Thank you for these

Good luck on your surgery this week! My girl was sore for a good week afterwards but you could tell she felt better than before surgery. She needed lots of short walks to regain her strength but she loved those. Best wishes!
Bride and Prejudice is my favorite!
Yes I see the photos of Zooey and his understudies. My dogs had a bobcat encounter but didnβt seem nearly fazed enough. I, however, freaked out!
How did I miss that Ric had a bobcat encounter!?! Scary! Sorry Zooey is alone and no longer cares for walks.
Monte will protect you!
#2 daffs mean spring!
Over on threads someone just use ai;dr and we all need to adopt that right quick

βLifelike robot puppyβ with brownish red βfurβ that makes zero lifelike actions and kinda smells bad on my messy kitchen counter.

Extreme close up of Chinese forget me not blooms. The plant is less than 3 inches tall and the blooms are tiny maybe 1/4 inch pale blue with white centers. The leaves have a puckered look and are medium green.
Just a milkmaid bud so not technically a bloom or flower yet. Tiny white buds forming atop a 3 inch stem. The leaves on the flowering stem are deeply lobed but the non flowering stems of the same plant are round and bulbous. There is also a sorrel that looks like a 3 leafed clover and a redwood stick.
For #bloomscrolling and #FlowerReport the first bud from the milkmaids and the pretty pale blue of Chinese forget me not.
Second and third growth redwoods on a ferny slope
More redwood trees on a ferny slope. There is a peek at the stream but I'd bet you can't find it.
From my #morningwalk I think the forest is brighter on cloudy days because there are no shadows.

Crud, I did not know about that truism. Gotta rethink my pfp, maybe?
I used to have whiskey chocolate shake when I did tater tot dinner. Back when I was sophisticated like you.
More delicious, NOT mellowed with age!
Wow!
Awww, troubles from teeth to tail. Sorry for the pet and sorry for the vet bills.
Fuck cancer! Iβm sorry, Fizzy, and Andreaβs family.

These were blooming in December, the earliest Iβve seen in 25 years.
Thanks for pointing me to dailydaffodil!
