Though working in the field of #tech and #data, a comment that I saw today that resonates. People can be overwhelmed by metrics (and data) where the focus on data outweighs the actual solving the problem. "Keep It Simple and Relevant."
Today's been one of those days that I needed to ensure that we focused on the outcome in mind. Reiterating how does this "specific" action brings us closer to "The North Star".
Just got my copy of this book directly from one of authors. I've started reading and its very interesting.
I subscribe to this as well. There's a few things that I've tweak my process so a commit only includes files that have changed (as there is metadata in the files that doesn't necessarily count as a modification).

An unanswered question at the end of the article that I wrote was about dealing with knowns and unknowns. A failed project executed / engineered perfectly on a bad requirement is still a failed project. How often do these teams get blamed / tarnished for something out of their control?
