Some historical and comparative context from me, with a particular focus on industrial policy.
Like others before, the PM is committed to cooperative federalism. Without institutional reform, however, competitive federalism will prevail.

That US goalie is pretty good, eh?
Last lap! Time to get back to it.

Btw, it’s a sore point for cross-country skiing purists. Biathlon is way more popular now and you can see that by how different the two venues look at these Olympics!
As they say in the hockey world, that’s quite the lettuce.
Need something on the hair of that Dutch guy though. Would make it more exciting if he didn’t have the hood on while skating!
And he did it again in the one race where he wasn’t the favourite.
Except maybe tomorrow!
Thanks for tuning in Bryan!
This is based on recommendations from the Comité sur les enjeux constitutionnels du Québec in 2024. So although the goal is the same, the approach is different!
Sorry, this is in FR, can't find an English equivalent, but here's where QC is at on this, with Carney's response at the end:

New work on on Immigration attitudes, out in @irpp.org with @natashagoel.bsky.social
We show dramatical increase in anti-immigration opinion in Canada over the past couple of years.
Its very different than previous shifts like in 1990s...
Have the book in my hands (thanks to Alex), really looking forward to reading it!

Wouldn't it be great if someone found a way to do a crisp English-language summary of the excellent @irpp.org report from @cbreton.bsky.social on the state of Quebec politics 30 years after the 1995 referendum?

Ha ha ha! Lots of good stuff this morning!
