I was raised on British television, so I'm not pining for the good old days of 26 episode seasons of #StarTrek. But a lot of what does bug me about #StarTrekAcdemy is the result of rushing through things that just need a little more space to play out than they've got. Just me?

My hottest #StarTrek take: On balance, Starfleet and the Federation are net positive contributors to the cosmic good but also curiously prone to being careless and downright stupid about not learning from their mistakes. Good drama, for the most part, but still annoying.
