We used to have lab meeting/reading group Friday at 3pm and then at 4pm we would head to the pub or restaurant for some socializing.

This was one of the positives of the air fryer oven thing we bought. Just knobs, no computers, not even a digital timer.

Who is advocating for this type of government currently?

150 miles is a great range though for battery only. Most trips, not having to plug in every day. And then if you road trip you get the full 500 mile range

I mean overhyped or not I feel it here in NM. Like it may not be β€œlogical” but what anxieties are?

04.11.2025 13:45 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Range anxiety is definitely a thing. Especially on vehicles designed to off-road etc. I’m still hoping for the next gen of solid state batteries to give 500 miles of range, which I think would solve most range anxiety. Or for plug in hybrids to extend their range to something more like 50 miles.

The problem with sans serif fonts is that I saw a post about Trump sharing a Weird AI video and I got tricked because I usually love a Weird Al video

Be careful. If it tastes too good to you it might become ultra processed

The recent Maintenance Phase about this is super good. It just seems like β€œultra processed foods” researchers just make up whatever they want as a definition.

Great article, though I would almost say that the chaos is already here, instead of what’s to come.

Why don’t you quote @michaelhobbes.bsky.social directly then?

it is incredibly telling and unfortunate that every single publication seems hell-bent on punishing WB for giving a successful black director money for an original movie, even if it's actually going over well. and that's something the industry should examine but of course they will not

20.04.2025 19:31 πŸ‘ 1092 πŸ” 192 πŸ’¬ 12 πŸ“Œ 16

it's important this go as viral as the original story for morale purposes if nothing else. despite the image they project these people are NOT unaccountable. consequences CAN be forced. focused anger and outrage MATTERS.

I really don’t understand the β€œshut up about certain things” argument though. It’s actually the opposite of what Trump does and I think it is why he has success. He does the whole litany of grievances every time so why shouldn’t Democrats do the same?

I respect the Trump Administration’s bold stance against the Heard and McDonald Islands. We can’t let them keep getting away with it!

The Kids Aren’t Alright by The Offspring was written when Dexter was 34. I loved the song as a kid but now as a person in my mid 30s it hits a looooot different

Must read 🧡:

Roald Dahl on Measles: "Olivia, my eldest daughter, caught measles when she was seven years old. As the illness took its usual course I can remember reading to her often in bed and not feeling particularly alarmed about it.
